Understanding our pricing
Each symbol is a rough price band for a full-service shower — survey, design, manufacturing and installation as one package. No supply-only options.
Prices assume installation within one hour's drive of our offices; travel beyond that adjusts the figure. VAT is added where required. Figures are guidance only.
You'll see the same symbols on every project we install — click any band on the right to browse shower ideas at that price range.

Common enquiry questions
Questions clients ask most often before sending the form.
How does the quote process work?
We send an initial quote in response to your enquiry — usually within a few hours on a working day. Complex multi-item jobs may take a little longer while production advises on specifics. If the figures look reasonable and you'd like to proceed, we book a site survey (normally 3 working days ahead; we can often arrange next-day surveys for urgent cases). After the survey we may fine-tune the quote or send alternative options for different budgets or specifications. There's no obligation to proceed — though our T&Cs provide for a survey fee if you cancel after the surveyor's visit. After the survey, if you're ready to proceed, we invoice the deposit — once paid, design work starts.
How long until I hear back after submitting the form?
Most enquiries receive a personal reply within a few hours on a working day — often with the full quote already inside. Complex projects take a little longer while production advises on the details. Forms submitted on weekends are answered first thing Monday morning. If your project is urgent, the phone line on +44 (0) 333 090 8736 is the fastest route — we answer during our working hours of Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4pm. You'll speak to the same team that handles your project end-to-end; there's no call-centre step.
Can you work outside your standard coverage area?
Yes — we cover the UK. Standard pricing applies within one hour's drive of our Milton Keynes workshop or London operations centre. Beyond that radius, the quote is adjusted for travel time. For moderate distances our team typically travels out and back in a day. For jobs beyond roughly three hours' drive in one direction, we usually stay locally for several consecutive days to complete the installation in one trip. Distant projects become cost-effective mainly when multiple items are ordered for the same house — travel cost spreads across several installations rather than a single piece. Share your postcode in the enquiry and we'll confirm specific terms for your location.
What happens during the site survey?
A Caledora surveyor visits your bathroom — finished or mid-refurbishment — and spends about 45 minutes on site. We take millimetre-accurate measurements using laser levels (or a 3D professional scanner for complex jobs), check floor and ceiling alignment, photograph the plumbing junctions and note the fixings available in each wall. We also discuss glass options, hardware finishes and door configuration with you. Over half the UK bathroom walls we survey are more than 5mm off level — survey data is what makes a well-fitted shower possible.
How far in advance should I contact you before I need the shower installed?
Allow 6 to 8 weeks between first enquiry and final installation. The site survey takes about a week to schedule, design approval and 3D preview follow, then glass manufacturing runs 2-4 weeks at our Milton Keynes workshop. Installation is typically 1-2 days on site. If you're mid-refurbishment, send a message at first-fix stage so we can survey before tiling — wall conditions lock design choices, and planning early saves costly changes.
Do you require a deposit? How does payment work?
Payment structure depends on project size. In all cases, the first payment is taken after the survey and before we start design work — mockups take real hours, so we don't begin them until the deposit is paid. For smaller jobs up to around £5,000, that first payment is a 50% deposit, with the remaining 50% on completion. For larger projects above that threshold, the split is 50 / 30 / 20 — 50% post-survey (unlocks design and production), 30% when goods are ready for installation, 20% after installation and your inspection. Payment is by bank transfer (preferred) or card — card payments incur a 5% surcharge; we don't accept cheques or American Express. Each quote is valid 15 days. VAT is added where required.
What's included in the quote — and what isn't?
Included: the site survey, design work, 3D mockup, 10mm toughened glass, all hardware (hinges, handles, seals, fixings), manufacturing at our workshop, delivery, and professional installation by Caledora's permanent fitters — exclusive to us, trained on shower glass for years. We don't offer supply-only; specialists for each stage handle the project chain from survey to sign-off. Not included: tiling, tray, waste, plumbing work, electrical items or bathroom furniture. Ask if you're unsure whether a specific item is inside scope; we'll clarify before you commit.
What warranty do you provide?
Three years on workmanship — covers installation quality and all structural components we fitted. Door seals carry a six-month warranty, though in practice they typically last for years. If a leak appears at our joints or a component fails within the warranty period due to our work, we return and repair the source of the problem — the glass, seal or fixture — at no charge. Urgent issues usually get a next-day visit. We keep project records for three years to match the warranty, so if you need service your file is accessible without re-explaining the project.
Can you remove my existing shower enclosure before installing the new one?
Yes — we include old-shower removal as an optional add-on to your quote. The team dismantles the existing glass and fixtures, disposes of them, and cleans the area before installing the new enclosure. The exact charge depends on the fixings involved and how much extra time removal adds to the job. On distant jobs or complex new installations, removal can stretch the site work into a second day — which is reflected in the quote. We flag any expected impact before you commit so there are no surprises.
These are general guides. Full Terms & Conditions are on our legal page and attached to every quote and invoice we issue.
