Brass Shower Enclosure - Central London

This beautiful corner shower enclosure made of brass demonstrates how aged brass anodising creates a lovely match with natural brass tile trims in luxury bathrooms. Our custom design follows the existing marble stone lines, creating a perfect fit that has always been meant to be there.

Brass shower enclosure with aged brass anodising in luxury Central London bathroom

Aged brass anodising that matches natural brass

This brass shower enclosure features our special aged brass anodising on aluminium frames, which perfectly matches the natural brass tile trims already in the bathroom. The warm, golden hue creates a rich, traditional look that complements the marble tiles beautifully.

Our anodising process gives you the appearance of solid brass, but with improved strength and significantly reduced weight. Unlike solid brass, which can tarnish and requires regular polishing, our aged brass anodised finish maintains its colour without the high maintenance that real brass requires.

Custom corner brass shower enclosure following marble stone lines with bespoke shape

Custom shape following your stonework

We designed this corner enclosure to follow the exact lines of the existing marble stonework, including the half wall and shaped upstand. This bespoke approach means every angle fits perfectly with your bathroom layout.

The frame is partially recessed into the shaped stone over the half-wall, creating a built-in look with no visible bolts or fixings showing.

Ultra clear glass in antique brass shower enclosure with hidden hinges and seals

Ultra-clear glass for the best views

We used 8 mm ultra-clear glass, which is significantly clearer than standard glass, allowing you to see the beautiful marble tiles inside the shower properly. Ultra-clear glass has less of a green tint than standard glass, so the brass frames and marble colours appear exactly as they should.

This thickness also feels solid and safe, giving you confidence when opening and closing the door. The ultra-clear glass works particularly well with brass frames because it doesn't add any colouring that might clash with the warm golden tones.

Hidden hinges and seals for a clean look

All the hinges and seals are hidden from view, and they are finished in the same aged brass colour as the main frame. This attention to detail ensures that nothing disrupts the clean lines of the design.

The hinges are deliberately small and finished in brass, so they blend seamlessly into the frame rather than standing out as separate fixtures.

Luxury brass shower enclosure with ladder-style glass handle and bespoke finish

Ladder-style handle for easy use

The glass door features a ladder-style back-to-back handle that's simple to grip and matches the overall design perfectly. This type of handle is practical because it provides a comfortable grip, whether you're inside or outside the shower.

The brass finish on the handle matches the frame exactly, keeping the whole design looking coordinated and professional. The smooth anodised surface is easy to clean and wipe down, helping you maintain a hygienic bathroom with simple daily cleaning routines.

Strong lightweight frame design

Our frames resemble solid brass but are made from aluminium with aged brass anodising, providing you with the beautiful appearance you want while offering much better practical benefits. The aluminium is reinforced inside with hidden carbon fibres, making it as rigid as steel but much lighter.

This ensures the frame remains perfectly aligned, preventing the door from sagging over time, even with heavy use. Unlike solid brass, which requires regular polishing to avoid tarnishing, our anodised finish stays looking excellent with just regular bathroom cleaning.

Perfect for luxury properties

High-end properties in Central London, which value traditional materials and high-quality finishes, find this type of antique brass shower enclosure ideal. The aged brass finish provides a classic, high-quality look that complements period features while still offering all the benefits of modern shower technology.

The bespoke approach enables us to adapt to any unusual shapes or sizes found in older buildings. Our complete enclosure systems use aged brass anodising, creating a rigid, scratch-resistant surface. Unlike painted finishes, this material won't chip or peel, making it ideal for long-term investment properties where quality matters.
