Brass shower enclosure with aged brass anodising in luxury Central London bathroom

Aged Brass Anodising That Matches Natural Brass

This brass shower enclosure uses our special aged brass anodising on aluminium frames that perfectly matches the natural brass tile trims already in the bathroom. The warm golden colour creates a rich, traditional look that works beautifully with the marble tiles.

Our anodising process gives you the appearance of solid brass but with better strength and much less weight. Unlike solid brass which can tarnish and needs regular polishing, our aged brass anodising keeps its colour without the high maintenance that real brass requires.

Custom Shape Following Your Stone Work

We designed this corner enclosure to follow the exact lines of the existing marble stone work, including the half wall and shaped upstand. This bespoke approach means every angle fits perfectly with your bathroom layout.

The frame is partially recessed into the shaped stone over the half-wall, creating a built-in look with no visible bolts or fixings showing.

Ultra clear glass in antique brass shower enclosure with hidden hinges and seals

Ultra Clear Glass For Best Views

We used 8mm ultra clear glass which is much clearer than standard glass, letting you see the beautiful marble tiles inside the shower properly. Ultra clear glass has less green tint than normal glass, so the brass frame and marble colours look exactly as they should.

This thickness also feels solid and safe, giving you confidence when opening and closing the door. The ultra clear glass works particularly well with brass frames because it doesn't add any colour cast that might clash with the warm golden tones.

Hidden Hinges And Seals For Clean Look

All the hinges and seals are hidden from view and finished in the same aged brass colour as the main frame. This attention to detail means nothing breaks up the clean lines of the design.

The hinges are deliberately small and covered in brass finish, so they blend into the frame rather than standing out as separate fixtures.

Luxury brass shower enclosure with ladder-style glass handle and bespoke finish

Ladder-Style Handle For Easy Use

The glass door features a ladder-style back-to-back handle that's easy to grip and matches the overall design perfectly. This type of handle is practical because it gives you a good grip whether you're inside or outside the shower.

The brass finish on the handle matches the frame exactly, keeping the whole design looking coordinated and professional. The smooth anodised surface is easy to clean and wipe down, helping you keep the bathroom hygienic with simple daily cleaning routines.

Strong Lightweight Frame Design

Our frames look like solid brass but are actually made from aluminium with aged brass anodising, giving you the beautiful appearance you want with much better practical benefits. The aluminium is reinforced inside with hidden carbon fibre, making it as rigid as steel but much lighter.

This means the frame stays perfectly aligned and the door won't sag over time, even with heavy use. Unlike solid brass which requires regular polishing to prevent tarnishing, our anodised finish stays looking good with just normal bathroom cleaning.

Perfect For Luxury Properties

This type of antique brass shower enclosure works perfectly in high-end Central London properties where traditional materials and quality finishes are important. The aged brass finish gives an established, quality look that complements period features while still offering all the benefits of modern shower technology.

The bespoke approach means we can adapt to any unusual shapes or sizes in older buildings. Our complete enclosure systems use aged brass anodising that creates a tough, scratch-resistant surface that won't chip or peel like painted finishes can, making it ideal for long-term investment properties where quality matters.

Production Time for Brass Shower Enclosure

Corner installations require precise measurements for two-wall alignment. Your Brass Shower Enclosure timeline depends on wall preparation and tiling completion.

📋 Multiple Items: Each additional shower enclosure may extend Design, Assembly, and Installation by approximately 1 working day. However, orders of 5+ units benefit from streamlined production processes that reduce per-unit time. We'll provide an optimized timeline for your specific project.

Tiling Ready

Faster Option

Your corner is tiled and both walls are ready. We'll measure the exact angles and wall alignment during our initial visit, then proceed with design and parallel frame-glass production.

Timeline Considerations for This Project

  • This project features brushed brass anodising which requires additional processing time for the premium finish.
  • The complex enclosure design makes it difficult to install in a single day, so we allocate two full installation days on site to ensure proper fitting.

Tiling Not Ready

Extended Timeline

Your corner walls need tiling. We'll take rough measurements of both walls for design visualization, start frame production early, then return for precise angle measurements once tiling is complete.

Initial Visit 1 day

Design & 3D 3 days
Create initial design based on rough measurements
Frame Production 20 days

Design Adjustments 1 day

Glass Production 8 days

Assembly 3 days

💡 Flexible Timeline: The waiting period begins after frame production (day 24) and varies based on your tiling schedule. If your tiling is completed during our frame production period, we can arrange the final measurements earlier and advance the entire schedule - moving final measurements, design adjustments, glass production, assembly, and installation to start as early as day 5 (right after design confirmation). The total timeline shows the minimum 38 working days if tiling is ready when frames are done.
