This pentagonal shower enclosure demonstrates how an unusual glass design can be effectively incorporated into a compact bathroom. When you have a toilet on one side and a basin on the other, finding the right shower solution becomes tricky. Our custom pentagonal design fits perfectly into the corner, providing easy access through the angled door entry.
We designed this pentagonal shower enclosure to address the space constraints in this small Farnham bathroom. The diamond-shaped design lets the door open at a 135-degree angle, clearing both the toilet and basin without any issues. The ultra-clear glass panels keep the room feeling bright and spacious despite its limited size.
The marble base adds a touch of luxury, while the chrome fixtures match the existing bathroom taps and fittings. This type of shower enclosure is well-suited for bathrooms where standard square or rectangular designs do not fit properly.
The diamond-shaped shower enclosure creates about 850 x 850 mm of showering space – quite roomy for this type of setup. We installed the glass panels on top of the marble upstand using our U-channels, which sit flush with the tiles on the lower half where they meet the wall. The reinforcement arm at the top provides extra stability without looking bulky.
Above the tile line, our profiles work differently—inside the shower, the tiled wall continues up, while outside in the bathroom, the light green painted wall shows our profiles sitting on top. This careful planning takes into account the existing tile and paint work. The polished chrome hardware creates a coordinated look throughout the space.
