This tinted glass shower enclosure in the corner demonstrates how grey glass creates privacy while maintaining a modern and stylish appearance. The dark-tinted glass functions like a one-way mirror – when the bathroom is brighter than the shower area, the glass reflects light, providing complete privacy while still allowing some light to pass through.

Grey tinted glass privacy solution
We installed this tinted shower enclosure in a London bathroom where privacy was important. The 10mm grey glass provides the perfect balance—you can't see through it, but a shaded light still passes through, keeping the shower area from being completely dark. The mirror effect happens naturally with grey glass when there's more light outside than inside the shower.
The frameless design, paired with satin black hardware, keeps the look clean and modern in our black glass shower screen. We shaped the glass at the top to follow the sloped ceiling perfectly, using every bit of available height for comfortable showering.

Tinted shower screen design features
With the door open, you can see how dark the grey glass appears – this tinted shower screen gives privacy even in bright bathrooms. The strong reflection shows the toilet and bathroom features, proving how the mirror effect works. The satin black hardware complements the dark glass perfectly, creating a coordinated, modern look.
We designed this as a corner shower enclosure to maximise bathroom space. The hinged door can swing both inward and outward for flexible access. We ensure proper bonding and security of the panels by UV-glueing them where the two glass pieces meet. These construction methods ensure durability across our entire shower enclosure range.
