Caledora: Luxury Glass Showers

Complex Projects? We Deliver.

Antique Brass Shower Door - London

We installed this frameless antique brass shower door in a marble bathroom in London. The door is made of 10 mm toughened low-iron glass, which is very pure, and it features a bespoke rail handle provided by the client. Its lacquered antique brass finish keeps patina from building up, making the door leading to the shower look wonderful.

Frameless antique brass door with custom handle

The customer provided a unique rail handle for the door. It has a rail on the outside and a knob on the inside. The frameless door installations allow for easy integration of any handles. We can drill the glass before production to accommodate any required back-to-back door handle.

Our 10mm ultra-clear glass is pure and has no green tint, unlike standard glass, which often reveals a green tint. The antique brass finish on the hinge complements the bathroom wall trims that were already in place. It makes the area look warm and rich, which is just right.

Protected antique brass finish

The protective lacquered coating on the antique brass parts keeps the metal finish from changing over time. It maintains the warm brass tone without allowing patina to build up. The client's bespoke knob handle matches well with our door hinges and goes with the rest of the design.

With antique finishes, there can be slight colour differences between batches, but this time, the match worked perfectly. The minimalist seals around the door edges keep water out without compromising the clean look.

Custom handle design

The rail handle design provides a secure grip from the outside while offering a knob for inside use. The antique brass finish ties together with the existing bathroom hardware and the marble-pattern tiles, creating a cohesive look throughout the space.

Our ultra-clear glass coating makes cleaning much easier by stopping soap and water marks from sticking to the surface. The 750 mm door width provides ample entry space, working well in this bathroom layout. This installation showcases the versatility of our shower door range, which can be tailored to suit various bathroom designs.

Quality hinge system

These antique brass hinges are built to last and support the door's weight properly. The finish protects them from daily use and bathroom moisture, keeping them looking excellent for years to come. The wall mounting system employs proper fixings that are compatible with the reinforced wall behind the tiles.

The builders installed matching antique brass corner trim around the door opening, creating a lovely finished look that ties everything together. Our installation process works in conjunction with your other trades to ensure all finishes match up properly.
