Brushed Gold Shower Enclosure - London

This brushed gold shower enclosure shows how aged brass creates a warm, luxurious look in this London bathroom. The bespoke gold finish matches the existing unlacquered brass fixtures, creating a cohesive traditional design throughout the space.

Bespoke Aged Brass Gold Finish

This corner shower enclosure features our specially developed aged brass finish that creates a beautiful gold appearance. We custom-anodised this finish to match the existing shower control and bathroom hardware. The aged brass develops a warm, mature gold tone that looks natural and sophisticated rather than bright or artificial.

Through our bespoke service from Caledora, we can develop custom anodising colours for any project. This aged brass finish required extended anodising time to achieve the perfect gold tone. The result is a unique finish that complements the traditional style of this bathroom perfectly.

Grid Frame Design in Gold

The grid pattern works beautifully with the aged brass finish, creating defined sections that catch and reflect light differently across the surface. This grid design gives structure and visual interest while the gold finish brings warmth to what could otherwise be a stark industrial look. The combination creates a perfect balance between modern function and traditional elegance.

We positioned the grid pattern on both sides of the glass as the client requested. This double-sided grid creates depth and richness in the gold finish. The full height design extends from the half-wall to the dropped ceiling, making the gold frame a central feature of the bathroom design.

Matching Gold Handle and Hardware

The ladder-style handle features the same aged brass finish as the frame, creating perfect continuity throughout the enclosure. Made from 17mm diameter tube, the handle provides excellent grip while maintaining the gold appearance. The door is left-hinged to avoid clashing with the bathroom door when both are opened simultaneously.

All visible hardware matches the aged brass finish, from the hinges to the handle. We positioned the door to swing outward into the bathroom space, which works well with the room layout. The consistent gold finish across all components creates a unified, luxurious appearance.

Complete Gold Design Integration

The aged brass finish transforms this shower enclosure into a statement piece that anchors the entire bathroom design. We worked closely with the client's architect and builders throughout the project to ensure every detail complemented their vision. The gold finish creates warmth and luxury while maintaining the clean lines they wanted.

This enclosure demonstrates how the right finish can elevate a functional shower into a design feature. The aged brass develops character over time, much like traditional brass fixtures. All frame fixtures remain hidden to maintain the clean gold appearance both inside and outside the shower.

Production Time for Grid Corner Shower Enclosure

Corner installations require precise measurements for two-wall alignment. Your Grid Corner Shower Enclosure timeline depends on wall preparation and tiling completion.

📋 Multiple Items: Each additional shower enclosure may extend Design, Assembly, and Installation by approximately 1 working day. However, orders of 5+ units benefit from streamlined production processes that reduce per-unit time. We'll provide an optimized timeline for your specific project.

Tiling Ready

Faster Option

Your corner is tiled and both walls are ready. We'll measure the exact angles and wall alignment during our initial visit, then proceed with design and parallel frame-glass production.

Timeline Considerations for This Project

  • This project features a bespoke aged brass finish rather than our standard brass options. The aged finish creates a warm gold appearance with a distinctive brushed texture, which requires additional anodising time. While any brass finish extends frame production compared to standard finishes, this particular aged brass specification adds several extra days to achieve the unique golden tone.
  • Installation requires three days due to the grid frame complexity and the enclosure's size. The grid design requires careful alignment and additional fitting time on site, while the overall corner configuration needs precise positioning to ensure the UV-bonded panels align properly with the existing bathroom features.

Tiling Not Ready

Extended Timeline

Your corner walls need tiling. We'll take rough measurements of both walls for design visualization, start frame production early, then return for precise angle measurements once tiling is complete.

Initial Visit 1 day

Design & 3D 3 days
Create initial design based on rough measurements
Frame Production 20 days

Design Adjustments 1 day

Glass Production 8 days

Assembly 3 days

💡 Flexible Timeline: The waiting period begins after frame production (day 24) and varies based on your tiling schedule. If your tiling is completed during our frame production period, we can arrange the final measurements earlier and advance the entire schedule - moving final measurements, design adjustments, glass production, assembly, and installation to start as early as day 5 (right after design confirmation). The total timeline shows the minimum 40 working days if tiling is ready when frames are done.
