This London bathroom teaches a lesson about small shower screens – they rarely work well. We only installed this narrow panel because both showerheads sit unusually deep in the enclosure, far from where water could reach the glass. In typical bathrooms, where showerheads are closer to the opening, this small screen leaves your floor soaking wet.
We shaped this narrow shower screen to follow the sloped ceiling exactly, leaving just a 2mm gap sealed with clear mastic. The black wall brackets securely hold the frameless glass against the wall, creating a clean, minimalist look despite the challenging angle.
This setup only works because the showerheads are positioned deep inside the enclosure. Most bathrooms require much wider screens for proper protection – but here, the unusual layout meant water never reached the glass. We help determine the correct sizing for your design.
While we cut this glass perfectly to match the angled ceiling, let's be honest: narrow screens may look appealing, but they offer minimal water protection compared to appropriately sized panels. They look appealing but offer minimal water protection compared to appropriately sized panels.
In most bathrooms, water from handheld showerheads splashes everywhere, especially when washing hair or turning around. That's why effective shower screens in showers start at 900 mm in width. This project works only because of the deep showerhead placement – otherwise, you'd need a door or a much wider panel.
