White Hinged Shower Door - London

We installed a white hinged shower door in London using a popular configuration. The 1,000 mm opening was split into a 650 mm swing door and a 350 mm fixed panel. The client provided a custom glass handle in the shape of a cylinder, accompanied by white fixtures that hold it. We paired the handle with white powder-coated hinges and U-channels throughout.

Alcove opening with door and panel split
This popular setup features a 1,000 mm wide opening, a 650 mm swing door, and a 350 mm fixed inline screen. The client required a shower door, but a door with such a wide opening wouldn't be convenient in this bathroom, so we agreed on a split design.
Both the panel and frameless door feature white elements: hinges supporting the door, 10 x 15 mm U-channels supporting the fixed screen, and a bespoke glass handle. The client supplied this massive glass cylinder handle with white fixtures, which we installed on the wall-hinged shower door.
02 · Hinges
White hinges with a 90-degree swing
Following the client's request for white elements, we used white wall-mounted hinges to support the glass door. The hinges swing 90 degrees inwards and outwards with a self-centring mechanism. At the same time, our 8 mm door seals maintain the frameless appearance.
Above the door, we left 100 mm for air circulation, so the shower isn't entirely closed. Proper airflow helps the area dry quickly, preventing the growth of fungus on tile joints. With white features, preventing yellowing is a top priority for our custom shower doors.
03 · Vanity Context
White bathroom design with colourful tiles
The client used a standard design in this bathroom, but its unusual implementation makes it attractive. All bathroom elements coordinate in white: the wall heater, basin drain, tap, tile trims, and cabinet doorknobs create a unified design thinking.
What makes this bathroom unique is the main tile colour selection. Instead of traditional calm tones, the client selected a colourful palette with yellow, pink, and light greens. This unusual choice shows a cheerful, energetic, and fresh character.
