Bi-fold Shower Enclosure - London
This bi-fold shower enclosure shows how smart design can make the most of a little area. The brushed nickel finish goes wonderfully with the taps, and the bi-fold door folds out to save space in the bathroom.

Working with an installed tray
This project shows why it's always best to involve us before tiling starts. The client installed the tray and laid the tiles before approaching us, which limited our design options. The tray sat too deep in the shower with tiles built flush to the white tray edge.
We had two options for hinge placement due to the limited space on the left wall. We could centre it on the upstand but risk water damage to the grout or install the hinge with the fixing plate on the bathroom side and position the glass above the tray edge. The client chose the safer second option to prevent water from getting between the tray and tiles. Through our shower door selection, we have found a solution that works even in tight spaces.

Half-wall positioning challenge
On the right side, we have a half-wall, which created another design challenge. We couldn't install the glass centred or close to the edge because we needed to follow the tile joint where the white tile meets the grey tile. The glass had to sit exactly on this joint to look right.
Ideally, the glass would sit centrally on the half-wall or close to the outer edge, allowing the half-wall to function as a shelf for bottles and shower items. However, due to the tile joint, we had limited options – installing the glass anywhere else would have looked odd. Early tiling shows how existing tile work can limit design choices when we're brought in after construction.

Frameless bi-fold design
Pushing or pulling one of the panels opens the bi-fold door outward, facilitating easy entry and exit, even in tight spaces. This shower has no overhead track because it's a frameless installation – our showers are bespoke, not ready-made with chunky frames.
We UV-glued the two fixed screens on the right side, ensuring the structure remains solid without requiring extra fixtures or top reinforcement bars. The shower door seals are minimalistic and barely visible on the edges. All our shower photos were taken with the seals in place, so you can see how neat they look in real use.
