Our frosted patterned shower screen uses sandblasting to create horizontal stripes that gradually fade from solid to clear. A design like this provides privacy at eye level while keeping the top clear, so your bathroom feels open and bright. The pattern works perfectly in this corner shower setup.
Sandblasted stripes on this screen are made from the bathroom side of the glass. Creating the texture this way gives you a smooth surface on the shower side that's easy to clean. At the same time, the pattern on the outside adds visual interest to your bathroom.
Two glass panels join seamlessly in this corner shower screen using UV-glued edges. UV glueing creates an invisible bond that's stronger than traditional brackets, giving you a clean look without any metal hardware at the corner. The gradual frosted pattern continues smoothly across both panels.
We installed U-channels at the base and walls to support these shower screens. These channels hide the silicone sealant and provide strong support while keeping the frameless look. A reinforcement bar at the top connects to the back wall for extra stability.
A corner shower screen maximises space in this lofty bathroom, which features sloped ceilings. The walk-in design, with no door, provides easy access. At the same time, the frosted pattern offers privacy without blocking light from the skylights above. The screens measure 900 mm and 800 mm in width by 2000 mm in height.
