This striking black shower screen for baths transforms a Central London bathroom with its massive 1000x1800 mm size. The 1000mm width is significantly wider than standard bath screens – we recommend at least 900mm for optimal water protection, and this exceeds that nicely. We used 8mm ultra-clear glass to ensure the natural light from the window still brightens the entire space.

Black shower screen for bath design
This 1800 mm tall black shower screen for the bath creates a striking feature in the green-tiled bathroom. The satin black frame stands out against the vertical green tiles, while the ultra-clear glass keeps the space feeling open and bright. Notice how the black frame perfectly matches the existing black mirror frame, creating a coordinated look throughout the bathroom.
The 25 mm x 30 mm frame profile gives the screen a slim, modern look without visible bolts or fixtures. We reinforce our frames internally with carbon fibre bars for extra rigidity, which is especially important for large screens like this. The hidden wall fixings inside the frame mean you only see clean lines and smooth surfaces.

04 · Easy Clean
Practical features of black bath screens
This closer view shows the practical benefits of our black shower screen over the bath design. The frame conceals all the seals and fixings that would be visible with frameless glass, resulting in a much neater appearance. The black finish also hides water spots and fingerprints better than chrome, making it easier to maintain a clean appearance.
We applied our easy-clean coating to the glass at no extra charge, which repels water and prevents limescale buildup. This coating works exceptionally well over baths, where soap and shampoo can create more residue than in regular showers. Every glass shower panel includes a protective coating.
