This Leicester sauna required a glass door for high-heat conditions. The client specified antique brass parts with a protective coating to maintain the finish over time. Three strong hinges hold the door up and distribute the weight evenly across the entire setup.

01 · Full Height
Full-Height Installation with Timber Cladding
For optimal support, the screen extends up to the ceiling and features three robust brackets. Because the measurements and fittings were so accurate, the glass panels fit tightly against the wood parts. The creative layout keeps the heat inside while still maintaining an open feel.
Heat emanates from the left side, where the sauna stones are located, so we placed the fixed panel there to retain the warmth inside. Users open the door from the right side for entry without losing heat from the hottest area. This door placement keeps the warmest air trapped behind the fixed screen during opening.
02 · Swing Direction
Door Space in Bathroom Layout
The door opens without hitting the toilet next to it, allowing for a clean entry into the sauna space. We positioned the door swing for optimal placement in this bathroom layout. Clear access to the sauna allows one to move easily between the bathroom and back without any issues.
Glass sits above floor level with 2 mm perimeter gaps that we sealed to prevent the glass from touching rigid surfaces. This frameless design keeps clean lines while maintaining structural support throughout the installation. The elevated glass position works well with tile floors in high humidity conditions.

Glass-to-Glass Hinge with Heat Seals
This job uses heavy-duty hinges specifically designed for thick glass doors, which join the door to the side panel for added support. A glass-to-glass connection provides clean lines and solid mounting for the door operation. The client specified an antique brass finish with a clear coating to keep the same look over time.

Ladder Handle for High Heat Use
The client chose an antique brass back-to-back handle rather than a wooden interior handle to match other bathroom fittings. This door operates smoothly from both inside and outside the sauna, featuring an easy-grip handle. The clear coating keeps the brass finish intact under constant heat exposure and daily use.
Handle placement helps natural movement from bench seating during entry and exit procedures each day. Users step right in without keeping the door open too long, which cuts heat loss through extended exposure periods. The antique brass finish adds a touch of luxury to this high-end residential bathroom installation.

This wide view shows how the door works in the bathroom space during normal home use patterns. The opening angle provides natural access without interfering with other bathroom fixtures or equipment in the area. All brass parts maintain a consistent look throughout the entire glass installation work.
The door works fine for everyday use by family members at home, and it does not hit anything else in the bathroom. 07 · Base Plates
Wall Bracket with Perfect Sealing
Three brackets attach the screen to the wall structure. Each bracket features a square base plate with a built-in leg support plate. These brackets align with the door hinges, ensuring a neat appearance throughout the installation and setup process. Professional mounting guarantees long-lasting strength and performance for years of regular use.
We applied a clear mastic seal around the glass edges that is antifungal and can handle high humidity and high temperatures. This sealing method performs effectively in sauna temperatures and maintains its appearance over time. The accurate seal keeps glass panels safely in place over time.
