This luxury London bathroom required a gold shower door. It needed to fit seamlessly with the existing lovely marble suite and gold-finish bathroom controls. We used ultra-clear glass with polished brass hardware for the frameless glass door. This option fit perfectly with the stunning marble shower area that ran throughout this elegant home.
The brass finish on our frameless shower door hinges matches the existing bathroom controls and showerhead. This coordination was essential in this luxury marble bathroom, where every detail needed to complement the sophisticated design approach.
Our polished brass hardware finish matches the bathroom's gold elements in this elegant London residence. The hinged door option allowed us to select from 24 available finishes, including brass. The gold metal finish is another name for polished brass hardware in shower doors and enclosures.
The ultra-clear glass eliminates the greenish tint visible in standard clear glass. The pure glass ensures nothing interferes with the door's elegant appearance. Our tiny door seals measure just 7 mm wide, maintaining the frameless aesthetic this luxury bathroom required. In frameless shower installations, the less you see, the better it is.
The square doorknob appears to float on the glass surface because the ultra-clear material provides exceptional transparency. We installed the door at the outer edge of the marble upstand. To achieve a clean look, we used glass-to-wall shower door hinges with offset plates that conceal all the fixing screws.
The gold-like hinges on the shower door allow it to swing 90 degrees both inward and outward. This feature provides flexible operation in the marble-clad suite, enhancing the overall functionality of the luxurious space. The rain showerhead on the ceiling doesn't obstruct the movement of the glass. The door may swing freely, making the space practical for everyday use.
Opening the door inwards after showering helps contain water droplets on the shower tray. It can also swing outwards to turn on the taps. The hinges conceal spring mechanisms that automatically align the door during the final 15 degrees of its closing motion. The hinges' smooth movement and positioning ensure quiet operation and proper sealing every time.
