It was an absolute delight to work in this beautiful Northampton bathroom. The client had made it so lovely with blue-painted walls and vintage furniture. We installed a polished brass shower door with ultra-clear glass to match the room's brass fixtures. The door closes perfectly flush, creating a seamless appearance.
In this picture, we see a closed shower door with polished brass hinges and ultra-clear glass, set against a bright light. The glass is barely visible against the cream-coloured stone panels, creating a seamless look. The door utilises traditional shower door hinges, which feature a protective coating and a self-centring mechanism.
The springs inside the hinges help align the door at the final stage, allowing it to align naturally with the edge of the tray. We chose these hinges because the client wanted a finish that matched the bathroom's classic styling while ensuring reliable daily use for years to come.
We positioned the door on the left side because there are two towel hooks on the right wall. After showering, the client can partially open the door to reach the towel without stepping out of the shower. This placement allows for quick access to towels without stepping out of the warm shower area until ready.
The wide view showcases the bathroom's elegant design, with each element well-coordinated. Our shower door installation had to match the design and remain discreet, creating a classic British look.
The bathroom features brass taps and controls on the vanity unit, as well as small appliances and wall fixtures in the same polished brass finish. The entire room features only blue, white, and gold finishes, creating a very classy bathroom. Our shower door is made of brass hinges, a square doorknob, and a pure glass panel that matches perfectly.
All parts in the room, including our brass components, have a protective coating to prevent the gold finish from changing over time. The glass and door seals disappear in the room, which is the primary reason for choosing the frameless style in this calm interior.
The picture shows the door partially opened at a 45-degree angle, revealing the smooth hinge operation for which we're known. The door has tiny 8 mm side seals made of flexible PVC attached to the glass edges. These seals are barely noticeable in the image but look fantastic compared to standard door seals.
Our team designed our shower door seals, which were made specifically for our company. We also supply replacements to our clients at a reasonable price. However, these seals can last for years of use, compared to about 6 months for standard door seals before they change to yellow and mildew.
The final look showcases pure glass with barely noticeable door seals and a brass finish that perfectly complements the lovely bathroom design. The door complements the design without detracting from it. All parts are well thought out, with even the smallest details considered to make them work as effectively as possible.
Our quality control inspects all parts and glass for defects before we visit to install our products. We do this because most of our clients have lovely interiors like this one and expect the same high quality of work from us.
